I’m looking for a few people to test out my new pattern YIPPEE

Details:
☮️ testing period: Sept. 1st- September 20th
☮️ skill level: advanced beginner
☮️ testers may choose to make either a roll brim hat, or a folded brim hat
☮️ materials: 5 mm circulars, worsted weight yarn, DPNS, darning needle

tester requirements:
☮️ must be able to commit to finishing the project within the time frame!!!
☮️able to provide feedback on pattern
☮️able to provide photos of finished item

I’ve been reflecting on the past 6 months a lot this week, the fourth of July always marks halfway in my head, and it makes me so nostalgic and makes me have the strongest urgency to clutch time in my hands and make it quit moving.

BUT! with that being said, I am immensely proud of the growth i’ve gone through in the past six months, both creatively and in my personal life.

For those of you who know me personally, you know that I was my own harshest critic until more recent years, so it’s very important that I can acknowledge that, dammit, I am proud of myself!

Thank you all so much for supporting me and providing me with fresh ideas and challenges. I love getting to do this, I love creating. I can’t wait to keep growing alongside you all.

Also I must mention this was inspired by fellow cool girl creative @things.ev.makes hehe

I went to Jackson Hole last weekend with my best friends and while I was there I picked up some gorgeous locally spun yarn, and then wound it up and worked on it all weekend, until it turned into this little purple scarf! This Tuesday, I was wearing that scarf when Asher took me into the mountains of Park City and asked me to marry him amongst the wildflowers.

I’m engaged! We’re gettin married! And I have a special scarf to go with it!

I met Aubrey when I was 14 years old and we’ve stayed friends ever since. It’s been such a beautiful and special thing to grow and change along someone. Aubrey sees me and my visions so clearly, so when she reached out about making this video I knew we had to do it. I cannot believe how amazing it turned out!!
